Dr Mark Wylie

I am a British Psychological Society Chartered Clinical Psychologist and have worked with children and adolescents for over 10 years, mainly within the NHS and more recently in private healthcare settings. I trained in Bristol on a clinical health psychology doctoral programme and also have additional post-qualification training in systemic (e.g. family, organisational) approaches to chronic illness.

I have longstanding experience working with developmental conditions, such as autism and Asperger Syndrome as well as learning disabilities in family, residential and in-patient settings. In addition, in my previous NHS position, I jointly set up and developed an attachment service for young children within NHS community paediatrics. I am experienced in delivering individual therapy with children and adolescents / young adults, as working with parents. I also provide training and consultation on issues such as attachment, autism spectrum conditions, managing stress, life span development, transitions to adulthood, and working with complex mental health needs, as well as coping and adjustment to chronic health conditions.

For children and adolescents my fees are currently £130 per session.
