Louise Dibben

Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 8 years of experience working in the NHS. I specialise in supporting children and young people to better understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I provide a warm, non-judgemental space where young people can feel heard, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Using evidence-based CBT approaches, I help with a range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, OCD, PTSD, panic disorder, phobias and other difficulties.

My work is collaborative and tailored to your child, ensuring that sessions are engaging, practical, and suited to their age and needs.  I believe in building strong, trusting relationships and working at a pace that feels comfortable. Alongside developing coping strategies, I will support your child to develop lifelong skills to build resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

I enjoy being in nature, especially long walks in the New Forest and I love cooking as a way to slow down and stay creative. I understand that life can be tough at times, and I aim to help your child work through it with confidence.

I am currently available on Saturdays to fit around school.
If you would like to discuss your child’s difficulties or how I can help, please contact the practice.
